DOLOMITI UNESCO

On 26 June 2009 UNESCO declared the Dolomites world-natural-heritage for their unique beauty. Part of this heritage are the Dolomites of Fanes, Sennes, Puez-Odle, lying in the wonderful natural parks of the Ladin area.

THE VILLAGE COLFOSCO

Colfosco, with its 540 inhabitants, is located at an altitude of 1645 m in Alta Badia, on the border of the Puez – Odle nature park as well as at the foot of the imposing Sella massif. We recommend a visit to the gothic church of Colfosco, dating back to the year 1420. Also enjoy the animals zoo in the heart of the village, where you can observe and pet different animal species. Adults and children can prove  their ability and courage throughout the tree tops in the adventure park. In winter Colfosco is an ideal place for performing any kind of winter sports and has a strategic point of departure for the famous panoramic ski trip of the Sella Ronda.
